"Music Expresses that which cannot be said and that which is impossible to be
silent"
-Shakespeare
Jessica Bowling is a graduate of Wright State University, and earned Master’s degree in Piano Performance in April of 2023. She has over a decade of teaching piano lessons spanning ages five to seventy. In each lesson, students learn to read music, and understand music theory. Jessica’s students also learn a bit about music history and the development of the piano. From there the students decide the main area of study!
While a classically trained pianist, Jessica also teaches chord chart reading, ragtime, blues, and jazz. Her heart is to train well rounded pianists, and allow them to explore their own unique passions. Whatever sparks your musical excitement, she would be honored to teach you or your child. She is a mom of three little ones and fully understands what it takes to keep children engaged. Together you will move, play games, and learn at age appropriate lessons. Jessica also works with students with autism, ADHD and welcomes each individual right where they are at. After teaching many ages and abilities, the belief that music is for all remains firmly in place. Jessica enjoys being a mom and taking a Sunday nap. When she is able to get away, she enjoys hiking with her husband, and trying new coffee shops. Jessica also plays piano at weddings, parties, church, and accompanies other artists. May her passion for teaching piano become your lifelong love of music. |
